Danish outfit Tone of Voice Orchestra is a talented 10-piece ensemble that features an unconventional lineup of four captivating vocalists, fiddle, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, cittern, saxophones, flutes, two drummers and double bass.

The “Tone of Voice Orchestra” album delivers English-language, Americana inspired vocal wizardry; a mix of Scandinavian traditional roots; finely crafted jazz stylings; and world music influences.

Tone of Voice Orchestra is co-led by singer-songwriter Trinelise Vaering and Danish Music Award-winning jazz saxophonist Fredrik Lundin.

Tone of Voice Orchestra lineup: Ania Rybacka, Maria Kynne, Tine Refsgaard and Trinelise Væring on vocals; Christian Mohr Levisen on hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, cittern; Emma Kragh-Elmøe on violin; Fredrik Lundin on saxophones, flutes; Joel Illerhag on double bass; Jesper Uno Kofoed and Anders Provis on drums and percussion.
