Mádé Kuti, son of acclaimed Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti, and grandson of the legendary Fela Kuti, has released a new track titled “Stand Tall” (Partisan Records). The song is the second in a series of singles that Mádé will be releasing before the end of 2022. These singles follow his 2021 two-album package ‘Legacy +’ which he released with his father.
Talking about the song, Mádé explains: “‘Stand Tall’ is about the individual. The only person that really knows in depth about the challenges they are facing is the person facing them. ‘Stand Tall’ is about overcoming those challenges with strength until the final show (death). Embracing the journey of life and death as very natural”.
