Masaryk – Národní Písne is an evocative collection of reimagined Czech, Moravian and Slovak folk songs, based on Jan Masaryk’s influential 1948 songbook Národní písne.

Lichtenberg’s inspiring vocals incorporate classic and contemporary influences, providing new life into the cherished traditional songs.

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, and currently based in Toronto, Canada, Lenka Lichtenberg  is an acclaimed composer, singer-songwriter, producer, bandleader, and session vocalist.

Lenka Lichtenberg performs world music with her band Fray; Yiddish music; and participates in cross-cultural collaborations with artists such as Roula Said and Yair Dalal. In 2012, she received the Canadian Folk Music Award.
