Artist Profiles: Juan Pérez Rodríguez

Flamenco pianist and composer Juan Pérez Rodríguez was born in Huelva, Spain. His curiosity led him to a wide variety of music. He graduated in classical studies in Spain and Paris, and in jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Juan Pérez Rodríguez has incorporated all these musical influences into his flamenco roots, with a richer sound, and a personal language developed in the channels of flamenco.

He has shared the stage and recorded with musicians such as Michael Thomas, Zubin Mehta, Simon Shaheen, Pepe de Lucía, Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo, Duquende, Diego el Cigala, Billie Drews, Gualberto García (Smash), Parrita, Bassam Saba or Alameda, among others.
