Songs Celebrating the Argentine Native Forest in Cordoba

Various Artists – Canto al monte nativo (Sura, 2021)

This 6-song EP showcases the captivating contemporary folk music artists who live the valley of Traslasierra, in Argentina. The songs are also available as music videos that intend to bring awareness to what’s left of the native forest in the province of Córdoba. It was recorded live and filmed in the surroundings of the prestigious recording studio Sonoramica, located in the middle of Cordoba’s mountains. “Canto al monte nativo” has the support of the Argentine National Institute of Music (INAMU).

The artists featured include José Luis Aguirre; La Insurgencia del Caracol; Aromo with Ramón Cortez; Julián Tor; Dafne Usorach; and Guia Guillermina Acosta.
