Mulid El-Magnoun (Kafr El-Dauwar Records, 2021) is the title of the new album from Yunis. It is an exploratory music trip through Sufi mulids (also known mawlids) and Egyptian folk music. The album features guest musician Mohamed Gouda on accordion.
Musician and producer Yunis was born in 1994 in Kafr El-Dauwar, Egypt. He has produced two albums until now; “The Blue Djinn Dance” which was his first solo album, and “Ya Khal”, a collaborative work with Ibrahim X.
Yunis is also a co-founder of Kafr El-Dauwar Records, an independent digital record label.
