Ivorian singer-sogwriter Dobet Gnahoré has released her new single “Rédemption” on video. The single is included in her upcoming album “Couleur,” scheduled for release on June 4, 2021 on Cumbancha Records.
On “Rédemption,” Dobet Gnahoré returns to her acoustic roots with a spiritual ballad. She sings in French and the Bété language. Dobet asks her higher power to “Help me remove my burden. God of heaven and earth, in you I have faith. I hurt myself and I hurt others. I come to ask you for redemption.”
