Afro Roots Fest Miami Beach is set to return on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The concerts will take place at the North Beach Bandshell 1. The artists scheduled to perform include pedal steel maestro Roosevelt Collier with special guests Richard Bona, and Weedie Braimah; Afro-Latino reggae artist Phillip Montalbán live; and virtual performances by Malian guitar wizard Vieux Farka Touré; and the multi-disciplinary Pan-African troupe Fulu Miziki.
The bandshell will be set up for limited, socially distanced seating, and a facial covering will be required.
