Drom World Fest 2021 Announced

Thirty performers from all around the globe will be joining the Drom World Fest 2021 March 26 – 31, 2021 as a livestream. The program includes acclaimed artists like Arturo O’Farrill, Ibrahim Maalouf, Snarky Puppy, Al di Meola, and many famed artists from Spain, Colombia, Turkey, Syria, Macedonia, Cuba and more countries.

Each of the six days will feature two sets, one at 2:00 pm, the other at 8:00 pm EST to reach more fans in different time zones.

While free to attend, the festival aims to raise funds for participating artists and Drom.

The Drom stage in New York City went silent last year, in March 2020. Despite the many attempts to re-open and the uncertainty all around, the venues owners are still waiting for events to safely resume.

Earlier this year, Drom was awarded the prestigious 2021 globalFEST Impact Award. “This recognition of our work in the last thirteen years came at a bittersweet moment when live events are on pause. That said, the music plays on and in the spirit of celebrating our diverse community of artists and audiences and to celebrate better days ahead, we are proud to produce a 6-day online world festival to take place.”
