The City of Doral in Florida (USA) in partnership with The Rhythm Foundation will present the fifth annual Ritmo Doral 2021. The free live-stream event will take place on March 20th, 2021 at 6:00 pm EST from Downtown Doral. Three bands are scheduled to perform.
Ritmo Doral 2021
6:00 pm – Tamboka, free-spirited musicians who play Latin grooves infused with a dose of gypsy jazz swing.
7:30 pm – Sonlokos, a band that fuses Afro Cuban son, timba and traditional Cuban rhythms with elements of electronic music. The septet plays Latin hits as well as songs from their new release, Se Te Va La Guagua (The Bus Is Leaving Without You).
9:00 pm – Ensamble 7/4, born out of the friendship of seven young members of El Sistema (Venezuela’s legendary national youth music program), who came together to extend the boundaries of academic music to include Venezuelan folk music, Latin American music and jazz. The group has toured worldwide, and collaborated with orchestral music, world music, jazz and folk artists.
