Native Instruments, Metapop and WOMEX Reveal Remix Competition Winners

World music conference WOMEX and its partner, Berlin-based Native Instruments, have announced the winners of the Remix Competition. The participants used Native Instruments’ online music platform Metapop.

A total of 142 remixes of all genres and music styles were submitted by all level of producers and re-mixers on the Metapop platform. Picking out five winners was a daunting task. After hours and hours of listening and re-listening to the submissions, the jury, Nickodemus along with the Metapop team, managed to shortlist the winners; with a tie in the Grand Prize. Here are the names:

Grand Prize is a tie between two winners:

Captain Planet (Listen) and MP User (Listen). Both will receive, Native Instruments Komplete 13 Ultimate Collector’s Edition and WOMEX Registration for WOMEX 2021 in Porto, Portugal.  

Runner Up goes to Dominique levack (Listen) who will receive Native Instruments Komplete 13 Ultimate.  

Third Place goes to J.V.Benavides (Listen) who will receive Native Instruments Komplete 13.  

And, the Bonus Prize goes to Lua Preta (Listen) who will receive Native Instruments Discovery Series Collection.
