Dutch jazz ensemble Rembrandt Frerichs trio has released an album in collaboration with Iranian multi-instrumentalist and composer Hossein Alizadeh.
‘Same Self, Same Silence‘ (Just Listen Records), released in December 2020, showcases the talent of Alizadeh, one of the most significant and groundbreaking musicians in Iran, and the Dutch musicians. Together, they intertwine Persian and jazz traditions.
