Chorea Slovaca – Tanečné Etudy Pre Sľuk (Dance Etudes For Sl’uk) is the soundtrack to Slovak dance and music program Sl’uk performed by the musical collective also known as Sl’uk.  The album is deeply grounded in Slovak folk music. It contains dazzling, fast speed instrumentals highlighting fiddles, flutes and cimbal (hammered dulcimer) along with fascinating a cappella vocal pieces; beautiful cinematic compositions; and joyful songs.

Sl’uk includes top professional Slovak musicians who perform together with a dance ensemble and a singing group. The lineup on Chorea Slovaca includes Zuzana Pokorná on lead fiddle; Jozef Lednický on husle fiddle and fujara flute; Peter Rogel on husle fiddle; Peter Mikulec on viola and cajón; Matej Šajgalik on viola and guitar; Pavel Vician on double bass; Andrej Jarolin on cimbal (hammered dulcimer); Hana Varmužová on flute; and Juraj Dufek on bagpipes and malý bubon (snare drum).

Vocal group: Adriana Jarolínová, Ivana Bohdalová, Kristína Malinová, Eva Miškovičová, Mária Nagyová, Dana Sihelská, and Silvia Vitteková.
