Mozambican vocalist Selma Uamusse has a new album titled Liwoningo on the Ao Sul do Mundo label. This is Selma Uamusse’s second recording. “Liwoningo” means Light in Chope, one of Mozambique’s languages.
“Liwoningo” combines Mozambican traditional rhythms and songs with world music, electronics, rock, and afrobeat.
