Tamotaït, the fifth album from Tuareg desert blues band Tamikrest is the number one album at the Transglobal World Music Chart for April 2020. The album includes Features celebrated Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra and a track with Japanese traditional musicians.
The current Tamikrest lineup includes Ousmane Ag Mossa on vocals, guitar; Aghaly Ag Mohamedine on vocals, percussion; Cheikh Ag Tiglia on bass, backing vocals; Paul Salvagnac on guitar; and Nicolas Grupp on drums.
