Artist Profiles: Paco Soto

Flamenco guitarist Paco Soto was born in Aguilas (Murcia province) in 1991. He grew up in Tanger (also known as Tangier), Morocco where he got his first guitar.

At 19, Paco moved to Madrid, overcoming a serious disease. His first album was “Vida,” a recording that featured well known flamenco artists such as Jorge Pardo and Guadiana as well as rising singer Sandra Carrasco.

Throughout his career he has collaborated with flamenco and jazz artists such as José Soto Sorderita, Montse Cortés, Jorge Pardo, Guadiana, Juan José Suárez “Paquete”, Los Chunguitos, Piraña, Sandra Carrasco, Ramón Porrina, Sabú Porrina, Bandolero, Yelsy Heredia, Nino de los Reyes, Isaac de los Reyes, Paloma Fantova, Moises P. Sánchez, Julio Botti, Luis Guerra, Dan Ber Lior, and José María Cortina.

He has worked in tablaos (nightclubs) such as Casapatas, Las Carboneras, Corral de la Morería and Cardamomo (Madrid).
