Flamenco singer, activist and poet Francisco Contreras Molina, better known as Niño de Elche, was born in Elche, Spain in 1985.
A young, multi-disciplinary artist, he infuses his traditional flamenco singing with electronica and jazz, dance and media.
In his project “Colombiana”, he explores the connection between Spanish flamenco rhythms such as the guajira and the milonga and the music of the Caribbean.
