Originally from Brazil’s capital (Brasilia, DF, 1979), virtuoso guitarist Daniel Santiago has played with such notables as Hermeto Pascoal, Ivan Lins, Maria Bethania, Ney Matogrosso, Jo?o Bosco, John Paul Jones, Richard Galliano, Toninho Horta, Guinga, among several others. Here is what Guinga himself wrote about Santiago, “The architecture of this guitar is particular and mysterious. Sometimes it is like the strings are thrown in the outer space… It is nostalgic and futuristic. Sublime! That’s the Santiago way!
