The final week of Madrid’s acclaimed flamenco festival Suma Flamenca will feature renowned acts along with, free concerts.
The artists set to perform this week include Rocío Márquez, Carlos de Jacoba, María Moreno and Pepe Torres at El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze; Ultra High Flamenco at the Museo del Traje (Costume Museum); Maria Terremoto at Residencia de Estudiantes; Jesús de Rosario at the Casa Museo Lope de Vega (Lope de Vega House Museum) and Arcángel at the Lázaro Galdiano Museum Gardens. These last four concerts are also free and open to the public until full capacity.
additionally, the festival will feature a series of improvisations and master classes led by Mercedes Ruiz, Javier Barón, Juana Amaya and Olga Pericet, as well as a dialogue and illustrated lecture titled ‘How New York Snatched from Paris the Modern Idea of Flamenco.’
