Acclaimed Zimbabwean guitarist, vocalist and composer Oliver Mtukudzi is set to perform on Friday November 11th at The Opera House in Toronto.
Oliver Mtukudzi, also known as “Tuku”, is a virtuoso guitarist with a deep and splendid voice. He sings in Zimbabwe’s dominant Shona language as well as Ndebele and English.
Oliver Mtukudzi’s discography includes: The Oliver Mtukudzi Collection: The Tuku Years, Paivepo, Shanda, Nhava, Tuku Music, and Vhunze Moto.
Tuku is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Eastern and Southern Africa, focusing on Young People’s Development and HIV and AIDS Prevention.
