Boreal International Festival Reveals 2016 Program

The Festival Internacional Boreal (Boreal International Festival) 2016 will take place September 14-17 in Los Silos (Tenerife, Canary Islands). The motto of this Spanish environmentally-conscious festival is “An Ocean of Cultures”, a journey through the cultures of the planet with Mozambique as guest country this year.

Confirmed artists are Batida (Angola / Portugal), Matthew Logan Vásquez (USA), Maarja Nuut (Estonia), Vox Sambou (Haiti), Mu Mbana (Guinea-Bissau), Kim Sawol X Haewon Kim (South Korea), Fajardo (Canary Islands, Spain), La Dame Blanche (Cuba), The Conquer Project & Don Virgilio (Canary Islands, Spain), Anna Trea (Brazil), Luiz Caracol (Portugal), Simbeque (Canary Islands, Spain), Jose Mucavele (Mozambique), Dj Kali (Canary Islands, Spain).

Boreal 2016 will combine live world music and other arts, as well as a craft fair and Ecomarket, workshops, a food market, a playground, documentary films, exhibitions, recycling and street parades, etc.
