Rosanne Cash to Celebrate The Southern Thread at Carnegie Hall

American singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash will curate a 4-concert Perspectives series titled The Southern Thread, a unique residency that celebrates her deep connection to Southern roots music.

Cash will open the series on October 24, presenting and hosting the first of three concerts in Zankel Hall by artists she is supporting, with The Time Jumpers, an 11-piece band comprising legendary veterans of the Nashville music scene.

For the second installment, on November 14, she will bring together master multi-instrumentalists Ry Cooder and Ricky Skaggs with vocalist Sharon White for an extraordinarily rare performance that will explore traditional blues, gospel, and bluegrass.

On January 15, Cash will presents soul septet St. Paul and The Broken Bones as they make their Carnegie Hall debut.

Cash will finish her Perspectives series on February 20, in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, with a
performance of songs from her critically acclaimed album The River & The Thread, as well as other musical highlights from her successful 35-year career.

Single tickets for Carnegie Hall presentations go on sale Monday, August 24 at 8:00 a.m. (with an early on-sale date of Monday, August 17 at 8:00 a.m. for subscribers and donors).
