Guacamayo Fest (Macaw Fest) will take place in Madrid between May 31 and June 20. The festival consists of a series of artistic and cultural activities around tropicalism and its colors. Macaw Fest 2014 will include documentary screenings, master classes in electronic music production, lectures and meetings with musicians, as well as concerts by Celso Piña (Mexico), Systema Solar (Colombia), Chicha Libre (U.S.), Chancha Vía Circuíto (Argentina), Copia Doble Systema (Denmark), Álvaro Martínez Llerena (Colombia) and many more.
This proposal will bring together in one festival some of the most interesting artists in this genre, who are renewing traditional Latin, African and tribal sounds through electronic music, psychedelia or rock.
