The song was composed by José Tomás Sousa and is inspired by the unique architecture of the Jewish Quarter of Hervas in Cáceres (Extremadura in western Spain).
“La Casa de Mosés” was recorded live at López de Ayala Theatre in Badajoz in March 16, 2013 and videotaped at the historical Rincón Nazari in Badajoz.
