Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra, one of the most popular stars of Latin American music for the past quarter of a century will make his Royal Albert Hall debut on October 14, 2013 when he will present his second ever show in London.

Juan Luis Guerra and his band 4.40, have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, won two Grammy awards and 17 Latin Grammys including one last year for best Contemporary Tropical Album. His big band style blending merengue, bachata and bolero with an Afro-pop/Latin fusion has gained him a huge success across the Spanish-speaking world.

Juan Luis Guerra’s new live album Asondeguerra Tour reached the #1 position in sales in the United States and Puerto Rico according to Billboard’s Latin Albums Chart and also hit #1 on the iTunes Charts of many countries, including the United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panamá, Paraguay and Peru.

Asondeguerra Tour is available in a regular version as well as a special deluxe edition that includes the entire concert filmed live from Santo Domingo’s Olympic Stadium in front of more than 50,000 fans. It is the first time that live versions of Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40’s biggest hits are included on one album including live versions of hits such as “La Bilirrubina”, “Bachata Rosa”,“Ojala Que Llueva Café”, “En El Cielo No Hay Hospital”, “Bachata en Fukuoka” and “Mi Bendición”.

The live album also features collaborations with Colombian rocker Juanes and with bachata star Romeo Santos.
