Manav Gangwani’s Passion (Music Today, 2009)

Fashion designer Manav Gangwani’s Passion is labelled as a unique “fashion extravaganza,” which celebrates the coming together of fashion and music. The album features chants and percussion to the accompaniment of sarod and other Indian instruments.

Artists Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan are after all regarded as not just music maestros but youthful fashion icons as well. Accompanying the sarod maestros are Rakesh Prasanna on flute and Sawan Dutta on vocals. The album has seven tracks; our picks include Flames Of Love and Misty Lanes. The closing pieces The Moment and Angels Of Love stand out as well.
