T-Shirt Design Competitions for Rainforest World Music Festivals & Borneo Jazz 2013

The Rainforest World Music and Borneo Jazz Festivals have launched a t-shirt design competition to find an inspiring design that represents the fusion of music and adventure. The two iconic festivals are organized by Sarawak Tourism Board annually. Borneo Jazz will once again be held in Miri from the 10 to 11 May and the Rainforest World Music Festival will take place in Kuching 28 to 30 June 2013.

The winning designer can expect to see their design printed onto t-shirts for sale at the festivals. This competition is opened to all university and college students; however the application needs to be validated by a teacher or lecturer with a signature and an official university stamp. Submission by any other organizations or artists will be excluded from the competition.

CONCEPT: The T-Shirt Design Competition consist of (2) two categories.

1. Borneo Jazz Festival 2013
2. Rainforest World Music Festival 2013

Prizes:

Borneo Jazz 2013 Category:

1. 1st Prize: 10 sets of 2 Day Borneo Jazz Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM1200.00
2. 2nd Prize: 5 sets of 2 Day Borneo Jazz Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM600.00
3. 3rd Prize: 3 sets of 2 Day Borneo Jazz Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM360.00

Rainforest World Music Festival 2013 Category:

1. 1st Prize: 5 sets of 3 Day Rainforest World Music Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM1650.00
2. 2nd Prize: 3 sets of 3 Day Rainforest World Music Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM990.00
3. 3rd Prize: 2 sets of 3 Day Rainforest World Music Festival Tickets & Recognition for the University worth RM660.00

Each person can submit one (1) design for each category. Submission requirement must have (3) three criteria:

1. In JPEG Format, High Resolution
2. In Working File .psd
3. Design must be in printable form on Black Mounting Board 20” x 30”

Any submission that is not following the above criteria will be excluded from the competition immediately.

Entries must be entirely your own original work and must not breach any copyright or third party rights. Copied designs will be excluded from the competition for plagiarism.
