Mestizo Music Star Sergent Garcia Announced July 2012 North American Tour

One of the European stars of mestizo music, Valencia-based Sergent Garcia will be taking his vibrant Latin and reggae sounds back to North America in July2012 for an 8 city tour. Venues include San Diego’s Asi Suena Latin Rock Fest, Madison Wisconsin’s La Fête de Marquette and Montreal’s Festival Nuits D’Afrique.

Already a familiar name in Europe, 2011’s Una y Otra Vez album was Sergent Garcia’s first album in over 5 years and solidified his legacy as a salsa-reggae superstar in the American continent. It also saw Sergent Garcia’s new artistic direction, collaborating with some of the hottest names in Colombia’s electrotropical music scene.

Since the release of Una y Otra Vez, Sergent Garcia has spent a lot of time in South America and earlier this year digitally released with Cali, Colombia’s Zalama Crew a “re-imagined” version of his song “Mi Son Mi Friend” titled “Calentura Mi Son.”
