Folk Innovator Patrick Wolf to Perform at WOMAD 2012

Patrick Wolf
Folk and electronic music experimentalist Patrick Wolf is set to perform an acoustic set at WOMAD 2012 in the UK.

At 28, Wolf’s music defies categorization. At the age of 11 he had constructed his own Theremin having become thoroughly ensconced in early twentieth-century electronics. The experimenting hasn’t stopped. His performance at WOMAD will feature a wide range of instruments that include junk-shop organs and his home-made Theremin, creating a fusion of jazz, folk and electronic music.

His most recent album is Lupercalia, released in June 2011.
