Bluegrass singer, songwriter, and virtuoso mandolin player Sierra Hull has released Daybreak, which was produced by Union Station’s bassist, Barry Bales. It features some of the best singers and pickers in the american bluegrass scene. This is her follow-up to 2008’s Secrets.
This young and fast rising 19 year old star has become one of the sensations in the bluegrass world. She left Tennessee three years ago and is currently studying at the renowned Berklee School of Music.
Hull has received 5 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) nominations in the past 3 years and is the first bluegrass musician to receive Berklee School of Music’s prestigious Presidential Scholarship.
Daybreak includes original material by Sierra as well as songs by some of her favorite songwriters such as Kevin McClung, John Pennell, and Shawn Lane.
