Tabu Ley Rochereau is one of the legends of Congolese music. He’s a songwriter, singer, talent scout, music publisher, record company executive and even a politician.
The album covers the period between 1977 and 1993. All audio has been diligently remastered from the earliest available sources and the 56-page booklet, with rare photos and thoroughly researched eloquent notes based on direct interviews with the artist, make this album an absolute bench-mark release.
