The stars of the Niger desert, Tuareg and Woodabe nomads Etran Finatawa return to the United States and Canada for the third time this July. Their new album, Tarkat Tajje/Let’s Go was released on Riverboat Records in March.
Etran Finatawa is actively engaged in supporting cultural identity awareness in Niger. They have agreed to a 2 week tour to schools all over their country to sing and to talk to students about culture and cultural identity. The project starts June 1st.
