The popular Afropop syndicated radio show recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary. “We recently had the great honor of honoring two of the world’s most accomplished artists, Harry Belafonte and Angelique Kidjo, when we inducted them into the Afropop Hall of Fame at Tavern on the Green in New York City,’ said producer Sean Barlow. “It was a truly joyous occasion. We shared a night of unforgettable performances, inspiring speeches, and camaraderie.”
Participants also honored Afropop’s 20th anniversary of connecting Americans to Africa and the world as Afropop’s host Georges Collinet, Exec. Producer Sean Barlow, and Senior Producer Banning Eyre were also inducted.
