Tambo International Art Camp in Mozambique

The Tambo International Art Camp in Mozambique offers 2 weeks of unique possibilities to experience the multicultural art scene and traditions of Pemba – Mozambique. The workshops will be held July 7th – July 20th 2008/

Participants will work with local and foreign artists in:

● Art work shops of dance, theatre, music, design and more
● Visit local artists like the Mask Mapiko dancers, Makonde carvers, the Arab inspired Tufo choir and more
● Performances
● III Festival ”Celebrating Cultural Diversity”

The Art Camp takes place at the Cultural Centre ”Tambo”, the home of the Tambo Tambulani Tambo. Participation fee including food and accommodation: US$ 200.
