New York City (New York), USA – One of the best known world
music clubs in
New York City, Satalla, is closing its doors December 4th. New owners will
take over on December 4. All shows after this date will be cancelled as the new
owners have other plans for the space. Satalla was open for a little over two years and presented more than
1,500 world music artists, singer-songwriters, folk, jazz and blues acts. In
only two years Satalla became one of the better known venues for world music in
New York City.
