Maal will be giving a special lecture on contemporary African society and
the pressures it faces, at the British Museum on Thursday 10 February, as part
of the Africa 05 celebrations. Tickets are just £5, the lecture starts at 7pm – don’t miss this unique
event. You can also see Baaba Maal performing at the Royal Festival Hall on
Friday 1st April, with full band, dancers and specially commissioned visuals
