(Prensa Latina) Lima, Peru – The popular Cuban orchestra Los Van Van will leave for Peru in
February, to present its new album Chapeando, local newspaper La Razon reported Wednesday.
The band will also participate in the opening of the salsa disco Boranda Latin Show, in the central district of La Victoria, downtown Lima, the publication stated.The new album by Los Van Van will be released in Peru on February 11, it added, and highlighted it is the first after the band got a Grammy Award in the US for Van Van is Here.
Released by Unicornio and Abdala label, the long-awaited production will surely be welcomed, since Los Van Van is the most famous dance outfit from Cuba, the morning paper asserted. The newspaper"s review highlights the songs Agua, Ahora quiéreme, Chapeando and Vive.
