Drum Drum, The leading Papua New Guinea contemporary performance group launch
their fourth tour of the USA in March this year. They first perform at the
Sydney Opera House’s world music series on the 8th March and then onto Womad NZ
before embarking on a four week tour taking them from Philadelphia to Los
Angeles.
Following this tour the group will be back home in Australia undertaking a 6
week tour of Western Australia before heading into the studio to complete their
4th Album due for release in early 2006. Full details and tour dates are

Based in Darwin in the tropical north of Australia, they draw upon their diverse cultures and ancestry to create a style of music never heard before. These young Islanders are taking the world by storm with their unique combination of traditional and western instruments.
