Celebrated British Reggae Band UB40 to Perform in Durham

British reggae-pop band UB40 is set to perform on October 26, 2015, in Durham, North Carolina at the Carolina Theatre. This concert is part of UB40’s first North American Tour in 8 years.

UB40’s lineup includes main songwriter and vocalist Ali Campbell, who will be joined by percussionist, trumpeter and vocalist Astro, and keyboardist Mickey Virtue, all of whom are founding members of the original UB40.

The trio will be supported by a seven-piece band. UB40 will perform all the hits that made them famous, including “Red, Red Wine,” “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love,” “Kingston Town,” “One in Ten” and “Food For Thought.”

UB40 will also present material from its latest album ‘Silhouette,’ that features a mix of new songs and reggae-style cover versions of classics by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Chi-Lites and others.
