Tribute to Cesaria Evora in France and New Box Set

 

Cesaria Evora “Toujours là” is the title of the upcoming tribute To Cesaria Evora that will take place December 20, 2014 at the Théatre Rutebeuf in Clichy, a suburb northwest of Paris. The lineup includes well-known Cape Verdean acts Nancy Vieira, Teofilo Chantre, Mariana Ramos & Sia Tolno.

Cesaria Evora, the legendary vocalist from Cape Verde passed away on December 17, 2011.

 

 

A new Cesaria Evora boxed set titled “La Collection – Cesaria Evora” is now available. The collection includes the following albums: “Cesaria” (1995), “Cabo Verde” (1997), “Café Atlantico” (1999), “São Vicente di Longe” (2001), “Voz d’Amor” (2003), “Rogamar” (2006) and the DVD of her concert given in Paris-Zenith on 28 April 2001.
