On the compilation Import Export a La Turka – Turkish Sounds From Germany (TRIKONT CD US-0373, 2007), DJ Ipek Ipekgioglu showcases the music of the Turkish diaspora. DJ Ipek Ipekcioglu is a well known figure in Berlin’s multicultural music scene. She travels frequently, visiting clubs throughout the world. Germany has one of the largest Turkish communities in the European Union and they have made a mark in modern German music.
