Amparanoia Completes its new CD La Vida te Da

Belgium – Spanish mestizo band Amparanoia has completed the
recordings of its new CD La Vida te Da.

The album was recorded in June 2005 in the Garate studios in the Basque Country (Spain) where the band also recorded their albums El Poder de Machín and Feria Furiosa.

The new record by the 2005 BBC3 World Music Award winners has been produced by Cuban multi-instrumentalist Eldys Isak Vega `Muñeco’ and Kaki Arkarazo, former guitarist of Negu Goriak and Kortatu. La Vida te Da was mastered atTranslab in Paris.

The album contains 14 tracks and is a co- production of Via Lactea and the Spanish label La Marmita. La Vida te Da has been licensed to PIAS for Spain, France and the Benelux and to Wrasse Records (cf Pink Martini, Khaled, Rachid Taha,…) for the rest of the world. The release date for La Vida te Da is January 23 for Spain and February 13 for the rest of Europe.
