Rocío Molina and Olga Pericet Lead Teatro Central’s Contemporary Flamenco Program

Teatro Central will return as a key stage for contemporary flamenco at La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, with a program that focuses on new works and premieres from some of the genre’s leading choreographers and performers.

Rocío Molina will open the program on September 14 with the world premiere of A mi manera 2.0. The new production is the latest work from an artist who has played a prominent role in contemporary flamenco.

On September 15, Olga Pericet will follow with the world premiere of La materia, which extends her exploration of flamenco through a distinct choreographic approach.

The program continues on September 16, when Andrés Marín presents Recto y solo. Florencia Oz will then premiere Ritual on September 23, followed by Leonor Leal with De voz, un cuerpo on September 26.

Patricia Guerrero will close this section of the Teatro Central program on September 27 with Pineda, one of the season’s acclaimed productions.

Tickets are available through the official La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla website at labienal.com.
