Brazilian music duo Benji & Rita have released an animated video version of the song “Impetuosa Atração” (Impetuous attraction).
The duo includes animation designer and vocalist Rita Figueiredo from São Paulo and New York guitarist and singer Benji Kaplan.
In addition to being the lyricist and vocalist on this project, Rita Figueiredo was also the creative director of this video, contributing all of the drawings and animation. Benji Kaplan acted as musical director, arranger, co producer, composer and vocalist/guitarist.
The lyrics focus on the obsession with the beginning of a relationship that makes us surrender to our partner with immense vulnerability and insecurity while simultaneously signaling a sense of mistrust and apprehension.
