SGAE Foundation to present ‘Cante Flamenco’ April 6-8 in Madrid

The SGAE Foundation has organized the Cante Flamenco series in Madrid, a festive gathering to celebrate the undeniable talent of a new generation of flamenco artists through cante (flamenco singing). The concerts will take place at Sala Berlanga, April 6 to 8, 2021.

The 3 double sessions will begin at 7:30 p.m., complying with all the relevant public health measures stipulated by the Ministry of Health. The lineup includes some of the most charismatic names in the current flamenco scene: Saúl Quirós, Lucas Carmona, Agujetas Chico, Maloko, Irene Molina and Sergio ‘El Colorao’. The six artists are originally from Madrid, Jerez and Granada, three national capitals of the best flamenco.

Each day will celebrate a tribute to a fundamental city to understand cante jondo (deep song): Madrid, Jerez and Granada
