Australian Celtic rock band The Rumjacks has released Hestia, its fifth studio album. The multinational group introduces a new lead singer Mike Rivkees (USA). The Rumjacks combine punk, ska and hard rock with Irish music. Their joyful party sound is very loud, entertaining and fiercely electric.
Hestia was recorded under strict COVID-19 restrictions in Milan, Italy where the band stayed and created this new album through August, September and October 2020.
The current incarnation of the band includes members from the USA, Australia, Italy and Ireland: Mike Rivkees (vocals), Johnny McKelvey (bass), Gabe Whitbourne (guitar), Adam Kenny (bouzouki and mandolin), and Pietro Della Sala (drums).
St. Patrick’s Day will take place March 17, 2021. St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the music and culture of Ireland and the Irish diaspora in many countries.
