Gitkin (aka Brian J) has announced the release of a new album titled Safe Passage. This week he has unveiled the first single from the upcoming full-length. “Nosotros Tambien” is an end-of-the-Summer throwback jam. Gitkin’s signature guitar licks take main melodic duties, while dusty keys and driving percussion complete the track.
Gitkin incorporates more and more disparate influences that fuse together elegantly in Brian’s skilled hands. From Saharan Tuareg sounds to Chicha (Peruvian Cumbia), Afro-Dominican folk and New Orleans-inspired 70s funk. The new album Safe Passage is due out on September 18th!
Gitkin recently released “De La Canción” EP, on Wonderwheel Recordings.
