Cairo-born Australian ud virtuoso Joseph Tawadros has a new album titled Betrayal of a Sacred Sunflower.
On this recording, Joseph Tawadros shifted from his customary high energy compositions. Betrayal of Sacred Sunflower is a more thoughtful and contemplative.
The majority of the musical pieces are minimalist and expansive, with long lasting notes giving the listener space to dream and to create their own images.
The album features ud, violin, piano, electric guitar, trombone and percussion.
