The 2015 edition of the renowned African music festival Sauti za Busara will take place in Stone Town, Zanzibar during February 12 – 15, 2015.
The theme in 2015 will be Peace & Unity, with a special focus on the music of Tanzania.
The two stages will showcase emerging talents together with big-name artists. Musicians from Tanzania already confirmed for Sauti za Busara 2015 include: Culture Musical Club, Mim Suleiman, Msafiri Zawose, Weusi, Leo Mkanyia & Swahili Blues Band, Mohamed Ilyas & Nyota Zameremeta, Mgodro Group, Zee Town Sojaz, Rico Single & Swahili Vibes, Ifa Band, Mwahiyerani, Tunaweza Band, Mabantu Africa, Cocodo African Music, Kiki Kidumbaki, DCMA Young Stars, Shirikisho Sanaa Group, Babawatoto Centre and more.
Kenyan bands featured include Octopizzo, Sarabi and Bonaya Doti. Liza Kamikazi and band will represent Rwanda.
