The fourth week of the Suma Flamenca Festival 2014 to Present Eleven Shows This Week

The IX edition of Festival Suma Flamenca (Flamenco Summit) in Madrid will present eleven new shows during its fourth week, from June 23 to 29, 2014. These include five dance shows, five vocal performances and one guitar concert. The Teatro Español hosts the majority of these shows, with three double bills featuring two exceptional concerts and an evening of dancing. The Teatro de La Abadía, the Centro Cultural Paco Rabal and the Real Coliseo de Carlos III will also present various events, while flamenco clubs and nightclubs will present 108 performances.

The Teatro Español (Calle Príncipe, 25), the oldest venue in Madrid will stage on Tuesday June 24, at 20:00, a unique concert that brings together artists from four countries. Titled Estruna, this show will offer a new interpretation of the flamenco tradition and Bulgarian song, with a current sensitivity. The artists include Laletata Bulgarian New Voices and singer Arcangel, from Huelva.

At the same space, on Wednesday, Jerez singer Diego Carrasco will present Hippytano, along with the Carrasco Family Band.
